Hello! Today we are going to listen to an extraordinary woman called Jane Goodall. She is a British primatologist (specialist in the study of chimpanzee behaviour) who has discovered amazing things about this animal, which is so similar to us humans!
Her main message is one of hope and love.
She is Messenger of Peace of the United Nations and has received countless awards around the world.
At this moment she is in Argentina! (on Monday 7th she is giving a conference in La Plata Museum!)

Watch part of "Thor: Taser" and learn as well!!!!

Hello there Adults4!! Today I bring you a wonderful tool to explore new ways of practising English!
It´s fantastic! And if you like it, you can use it anytime you like to practise! 
It´s great! And it shows previews of great films...
Instructions: (read them all first)

- You will watch a very short part of a film called "Thor: Taser" (taser is a small electroshock machine). It is about Thor, a strange man who suddenly and mysteriously appears on our planet, in the middle of a circle on the ground. Jane, Professor Andrews and Darcy find him there. Good actors appear. Watch what happens!
- After watching the short video, you have to press the red button that says "Next" and the site will guide you to some questions to see if you understood the general meaning, and then to vocabulary exercises.

It is wonderful! And if you have doubts you always have the short video there to watch it again as many times as you need.
It is great fun and a wonderful way to learn and practise!

Airplane crash-lands into Hudson River; all aboard reported safe

The plane entered the water Thursday afternoon after a failed takeoff, the FAA says.
A US Airways plane with 155 people on board ditched into a chilly Hudson River on Thursday, apparently after striking at least one bird upon takeoff from New York's LaGuardia Airport, according to officials and passengers.
Everyone on board was accounted for and alive, officials said. About 15 people were being treated at hospitals and others were being evaluated at nearby sanitary posts.
Flight 1549, headed to Charlotte, North Carolina, was in the air for less than three minutes, according to FAA spokeswoman Laura Brown.
